Last Tuesday the children and I all had a little drive up to Bristol to the HMV store to go to a meet and greet with the amazing RØRY – we got there a little early and realised that everyone else got there even earlier.
We collected our CD at the desk and was so thrilled to seer the album cover – in fact the album cover had already caught my eye as I made it into a mug – my idea was to make a mug and then present it to RØRY. And I did just that.
In my life I have met a zillion people that have left an impact on my life, but I have to say that RØRY is a person that I will truly never forgot.
To cut a long story short, she loved the mug and gave me permission to make them and sell them.
We are finally in business, I will always be so very grateful to RØRY and this is the end result.

We have been so busy with our slightly unusual and somewhat unique imagination – this time for Father’s Day.
We were thinking that to buy a mug that says ‘BEST DAD IN THE WORLD’ that would be rather lovely, but the truth is, it’s a bit of a cliche isn’t it.
Fathers should be neither seen nor heard.That is the only proper basis for family life.

So, we had a little think and we thought about it for a lot longer than we expected and we thought that some dads are lovely, and some are quite honestly a bit silly.
We also thought, there are dads, step dads, foster dads, adoptive dads (dads) LBGT+ dads and mums that do dad stuff single handedly.
The result was we created a perfect dad gift for the perfect dad person.

Terms and Conditions
All sellers that are running a business and selling their hand made or homemade goods must have public liability insurance. This must be provided at the time of booking.
No food items to be sold at the events unless agreed by the organiser . If permission is agreed, the seller must be a registered food business and possess a valid food handling qualification as well as public liability insurance.
Booking forms must be filled in prior to the event and payment made by bank transfer or cash to the organiser.
I am Grannie and my 3 grandchildren (ages 6,7 and 9) all craft together. We used to play shops and make things to ‘sell’.
We generally glue things together with glue sticks, put glitter on things, and then put it in a little organza bag with some love heart sweets.
I normally have to buy our creations and then give the children the sweets.
BUT, from this lovely little crafting and role playing fun, a little business started.
It started with us making nice gifts for the children’s school friends as I bought lots of confetti plastic cold cups and then a Cricut printer and lots of vinyl.
We all designed the school friend’s name on the laptop, cut it on the most amazing printer, the Cricut, and then stuck vinyl labels on the cups.
They were pretty good, it was a joint effort between the 4 of us and we loved doing it so incredibly much.
Fast forward to August 2022 and Auntie Daisy’s Crafts was established.
It all started with us all playing with cardboard, glue and lots of glitter.
